PRESS RELEASE: Gauteng Legislature launches 16 Days of Activism, World Aids Initiative and its Citizen
The Citizens Annual Report of the Gauteng Legislature, 2011/2012, is a shorter, simplified version of the comprehensive Annual Report of the GPL. It is intended to use accessible language to update, educate and inform the people of Gauteng about the annual financial and non-financial performance of the GPL for the year 2011/2012, and also to raise awareness about the GPL and its functions.
We encourage all Gauteng citizens to read this report with the view of understanding that your voice has been heard and we, the GPL, will continue to listen during our public participation sessions. It is through these mediums that we are able to understand your needs, and thus we are enabled to deliver on the fulfilment of those needs.
The GPL will also launch the 16 days of Activism against Women and Children Abuse.
